Weaker curl patterns may require scrunching your curls to form curl groupings while stronger textures maybe require a comb/brush to start forming curl grouping in the shower. Using Curl Conditioner for nay type of styling techniques in the shower, will make it a lot easier to work with. After forming any type of in shower curl styling with rinse out products, follow with a soft rinse (low pressure) to not disturb your curl pattern.

"Unfortunately not a win. The is incredible, but it did not feel like it was putting moisture back into my hair or making my curls more defined. I used with the shampoo and curl cream in the same line. My hair felt dry after two washes four days apart from each other. My curl pattern became weird and not consistent. Some were curly others straight. Furthermore I detangle in the shower and there is no slip to this conditioner. I felt like I was doing more damage to my hair just trying to get the conditioner in and the brush through. Over all not my thing. It’s probably the shea coating my hair but and not letting any water in after the initial first wash. I’m going back to innersense."

Very disappointed

"Have the ingredients for the curly hair conditioner changed as well as the bottle ? I have used this range for years but my last purchase has left my hair with residue and frizzy. It doesn’t appear to detangle on application either. I also find it harder to get the conditioner out of the bottle. Very disappointing as I bought two bottles with my last order."

Great definition but created scalp buildup

"This conditioner (plus the shampoo) really work great to create defined curls. I could use these products twice a week and I didn’t even need to use a gel or mousse to create definition, it was wash and go. The reason I am knocking 2 stars is the ingredients are so-so if you are looking to avoid endocrine disruptors (can we at least make a fragrance free version??) but more importantly it created terrible flakey build up on my scalp. I switched to innersense and the build up is gone but the curls are not as nice. Really wish this product could work without the build up!"

"I use this conditioner after shampooing with the curls shampoo. I like the texture and it’s easy to apply. My hair quickly reaches peak slimy smoothness when I brush the conditioner through my wet hair and stays soft and conditioned after rinsing out. I think it will last me a while mitigating the cost."
