Pump doesn’t work + poor customer service

"When the pump on my bottle was broken, customer service told me I needed to go buy another pump from somewhere else because they are back ordered. They sent a video showing me how to open a pump, which was condescending because I told them my conditioner pump opened just fine. The company having a tutorial video tells me this is a common problem that they blame on the customer, and according to Reddit, this is a common issue that never gets resolved. At this price point, I expect the pump to work and I expect a customer forward approach."

Great shampoo, high cost even with sale

"I tried PHD after a recommendation from a clerk at Kohls, and am happy with the results. The shampoo is concentrated, so a little goes a long way. The foam is rich but rinses quickly and cleanly. PHD leaves my hair very clean, providing a good foundation for Paul Mitchell's The Conditioner to provide the right level of soft hold. The shampoo is excellent, but is expensive even after the sale. It's a good thing one bottle lasts a long time, so cost-wise it probably evens out over time."
